The new Škoda Fun Area in the open-air eastern field offers some dynamic drifting technique. The brand name with the winged arrow gets into gear with a customized Škoda Fabia and the happening showcase “Drifting for everyone”. For the “Team challenge”, one single Škoda Roomster is manned by four highly-responsive team members who operate the gas, brakes, clutch and steering – all at the same time.

25 Years of NITROLYMPX , August 13-15, 2010 at Hockenheimring
After the success last year at TUNING WORLD BODENSEE 2009, the Hockenheimring Baden-Württemberg adds the crowning touch for all ”hard-core“ real high-speed fans among this year’s exhibition visitors. In connection with the 25-year Jubliee of NitrOlympX, Europe‘s greatest drag-racing organization event running August 13-15, 2010 at Hockenheimring, they’ve sent the drag-racing scene’s best-of-the-best to the ultimate of all sound-checks.

The earth shall indeed move, when the 8000 horsepower Top Fuel Dragster pushes its high performance monster engine way past the normal rpm’s borders, and fans can vividly feel the “sound of speed” and savour the “fragrance of power” from this nitro-powered missile.

But not only are the vehicles first class. The driver is none other than FIA Europe’s repeat champion Urs Erbacher. He and his team are not only there to answer the audiences’ questions and comments, but also to sign autographs at the end of the warm-ups.

The charismatic Swiss drag-racing giant also has something in his pocket for bike enthusiasts and up-and-coming motorsport fans. In addition to his Top Fuel Dragster he brings along the current UEM-Vize-European Championship Top Fuel Bike, a Harley dragster bike, and a junior dragster – all lurking in his luggage.

Heads up, speed fans! 2010 on Lake Constance is once again very hot and very loud – a small foretaste of 25 years of speed and power – who could ask for anything more?
